Dadaz

(South Korea)

DADAZ strives to remain open to new fields and projects, ultimately leaving a lasting impact as an artist who created culture alongside DADAZ fam. Together, they embarked on a shared journey of discovering new values. The DADAZ project was launched by presenting NFT artworks as gifts to acquaintances, with distribution of the 888 pieces ongoing to this day. As the number of recipients (DADAZ Fam) increased, multi-layered communities formed, expanding rapidly through the creation of secondary works and offline meetups. DADAZ's work is characterized by the "eyes, nose, and mouth" motif. Three white lines are casually drawn downwards, with black rice-shaped dots on both sides representing pupils, stimulating imaginative expressions. This motif serves as a signature element in every picture. Another sculptural element is the "spell," a free curve arranged in one to five lines on the background of every screen. It's not a special sentence, but DADAZ’s spell is like an another language in a state of “trance." It contains DADAZ's warm heart, which thinks of the recipient of the picture (DADAZ Fam). Ultimately, the spell becomes a "bridge" linking individuals.

Peter Nitsch

Nitsch published his first monograph Bangkok – Urban Identities in 2006. He is the recipient of numerous awards, both as designer (New York Festival and BDA, among others) and photographer (Los Angeles International Photography Award and Hasselblad Masters semifinalist, among others).
